As Public Relations Manager, Pat brings a decade of experience in Greater Cincinnati news media to assist Scooter Media clients in using various earned and proprietary media channels strategically to tell their stories, enact their missions, and position themselves and leaders within their community.
With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English, Pat entered the communications field creating digital content (think blog, social and email) for a variety of local clients while moonlighting as a freelance correspondent for two Northern Kentucky digital outlets (now both under one umbrella as Link NKY). After a few years of content marketing and freelance journalism, he began what would be a seven-year tenure at WCPO-TV, first as a digital producer then as a reporter covering transportation, sustainability and regional development. Most recently, Pat spent two years as External Affairs Manager at Metro, the public transit agency that provides bus service throughout Southwest Ohio.
When he’s not working, Pat can usually be found riding his bicycle, shooting pool in Mainstrasse Village, throwing discs on Devou Park’s disc golf course, playing a board game, or working on a project around the house. He’s a proud homeowner in Mainstrasse with his spouse and three fur-children (2 cats + 1 dog).
