As Public Relations Director at Scooter Media, Lauren is responsible for leading client accounts, including overseeing both communication strategy development and tactical execution of plans. She works together with clients to ensure goals and objectives are clearly defined and met. She has extensive experience with clients across a variety of industries, including professional services, nonprofit organizations and consumer products/retail. She is also responsible for overseeing the public relations team, including staff professional development.

Prior to joining Scooter Media, Lauren started her career at a consumer-facing public relations agency where she supported nonprofits, senior care facilities, restaurants and CPG brands on communication initiatives. Most recently, she served as a senior PR and social media strategist for a global B-to-B agency to help clients in tech, healthcare, food and beverage, and professional services. She graduated cum laude with a degree in Public Relations from Kent State University and has more than 10 years of communication experience. She is also an award-winning PR practitioner. Lauren was named PR Professional of the Year by the Cincinnati Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2020 and has been honored with the Next Generation Leader Award in public relations by the Northern Kentucky Chamber in 2021. Lauren earned her received his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2019. The designation demonstrates a commitment to the profession through ethical practices, strategic perspectives, and a thorough understanding of the research/planning/implementation/evaluation (RPIE) process.

She currently resides in Covington (#LoveTheCov) with her sweet chihuahua Pomeranian mutt, Zoey. Outside of the office, you can find her working out or cooking, enjoying some sort of movie/series/book in the horror or true crime genre, attending a concert, or spending time with friends and family. Lauren also volunteers her time on the Executive and Communications Committees for Welcome House.
