Klosterman Baking Company (Klosterman) is a family-owned bakery that has served quality breads, buns and other baked goods for more than 125 years to more than 4,000 restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals and schools throughout the Midwest.
In order to reach the company’s many target audiences, Klosterman engaged Scooter Media to create a series of ads that matched recent updates to the brand’s look. These campaigns included:
University of Cincinnati Athletics – As a part of an ad buy for the University of Cincinnati’s basketball and football programs, Klosterman tapped Scooter Media to help develop a dynamic creative strategy tailored for sports fans. Scooter Media created full-page print and digital ads for the football and basketball game programs, and coordinated tailgate recipe cards that featured Klosterman bread products. This was a win-win for both Klosterman and fans alike. Klosterman received a boost in brand recognition and hungry fans took home a recipe card from the programming inserts.
Kroger Thanksgiving Mailer – A similar tactic was leveraged in Kroger’s coupon booklets around the holidays. In order to increase brand recognition and drive trial, Scooter Media worked to design an insert in the popular magazine featuring Klosterman’s updated branding, a unique recipe and imagery, as well as a coupon for customers. This creative went into the Thanksgiving mailer insert. By leveraging the provided recipe, it extended the shelf-life of the ad well past the coupon.
