As a Public Relations Manager at Scooter Media, Melissa brings a deep passion for community, storytelling, and strategic communications. With a background in community engagement and marketing, she has built a reputation for helping organizations tell authentic stories that connect with audiences and strengthen communities. A University of Kentucky graduate, Melissa also lived in New York City, an experience that helped shape her perspective on storytelling, culture, and vibrant communities.
Melissa is actively engaged in the Northern Kentucky nonprofit and leadership community. She serves on the board of Faith Community Healthcare Network and as Event Chair for the Children’s Law Center Boots, Bourbon and Biscuits for the second consecutive year. She is also a member of the event committee for Homeless to Hopeful, which benefits the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky, and serves on both the NKY Chamber Regional Youth Leadership Program Steering Committee and Leadership Northern Kentucky’s Community Vibrancy Committee. Melissa is a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky, Class of 2024.
Outside of the office, Melissa lives in Bellevue with her husband Chris, their two sons, and their adorable maltipoos, Fitz and Tenley. As a family, they love exploring the river cities, trying new restaurants, taking walks along the river, and cheering on FC Cincinnati.
