2025 has been another year for the books for the Scooter Media team. We’ve welcomed new clients, had a lot of team bonding, and were honored for the ninth consecutive year with an agency of the year distinction during the 2025 Cincinnati PRSA Blacksmith Awards! As we prepare to take a well-deserved Thanksgiving break from our fast-paced worlds of PR and social media, our team members are also taking the time to reflect on everything we’re thankful for over the past year.
Here’s what the Scooter Media team is thankful for in 2025:
“This year, I’m especially thankful for time — time with my family, and time with my closest friends. Life moves fast, and those moments together mean everything. I’m reminded how lucky I am to have people who make me laugh, ground me, and cheer me on. I’m also so thankful for my Scooter Media team, who feel like family in their own right.” – Shannan Boyer, President & Founder
“While many in our community may go without during the holidays, I’m incredibly grateful for the roof over my head, the food on my table, and the love and support of my family, friends and partner. Also, gym, books and dogs. Honestly, my book collection and dog, Zoey, are doing the heavy emotional lifting this year, one chapter and walk at a time.” – Lauren Vogel, APR, Vice President of Client Services
“There’s so much I’m grateful for in 2025, including: the Scooter Media crew (especially the all-stars on our digital team, who never fail to brighten my life with their enthusiasm and expertise); incredible clients who I genuinely love working with; my friends who keep my life exciting and unpredictable; and Hilary Duff’s imminent return to music.” – Drew Boehmker, APR, Digital Director
“This year, I’m so grateful for our incredible team and the creative client projects that have kept me busy this year. I feel so fortunate being in a role where my creativity — and our clients — can shine.” – Lindsey Vanderkolk, Creative Director
“I’m thankful for soft, cozy blankets that help keep the cold and bitterness at bay on the hard days. I don’t take for granted that I’m surrounded by so many kind and considerate friends, family and coworkers I can trust and rely on. I’m grateful for food on the table, a roof over my head, a dog to snuggle with at night and work that keeps things going. I know not everyone has these comforts and necessities right now, and I really do appreciate how fortunate I am.” – Amber Potter, Public Relations Account Supervisor
“This season, I’m especially thankful for my family, whose love and support are at the heart of everything I do. I’m also grateful for the chance to do work I’m passionate about and for the health and energy to live each day with purpose and joy.” – Danielle Reynolds, Public Relations Account Supervisor
“I’m thankful for all the time I was able to spend with my friends and family! From Vegas to Tampa and all the trips in between, my husband and I had some serious adventures. I’m looking forward another year of making memories and spending the holidays with my loved ones. (And I’m AGAIN thankful for 2026 My Chemical Romance tickets).” – Sarah Brookbank, Integrated Communications Manager
“This year, I am very fortunate for the good people in my life who provide me guidance, kindness and understanding that inspire me to try each day and be a better version of myself than the day before.” – Tabari McCoy, Content Specialist
“This year I’m thankful for having a fulfilling job, my Scooter teammates, my friends and family (which includes my cat, Binx), Taylor Swift, and my health.” – Katie Forcade, Media Relations Specialist
“I am thankful for all of the amazing things that have happened in my life in 2025! Between getting married and building a house, it has been a great year of celebrations. I also am thankful for my amazing co-workers who make a better PR pro every day!” – Chase Prather, Account Specialist
“This year, I am thankful for all my family and friends for always supporting my creative pursuits and for always showing up for me and each other.” – Kali Reaves, Digital Specialist
“I truly have so much to be thankful for this year. If I took the time to mention all of the things that I feel blessed for, I would take up the entire blog! Instead, here are a few things I feel extra thankful for lately, in no particular order: the resurgence of Dancing With the Stars, the fact that I witnessed Noah Kahan’s greatness live, UDF milkshakes, my friends and family, and my boyfriend and our puppy, Groot!” – Nevaeh Votel, Assistant Account Executive
“This year, I’m thankful for my husband, my family, good health, the joy of trying and cooking new foods, exploring new places, finding my next favorite show, and working with the best team at Scooter Media.” – Abbie Trotter, Assistant Account Executive
