Scooter Media is proud to announce the promotion of Drew Boehmker, APR, to Digital Director. In this role, Drew will lead the agency’s digital strategy, helping to ensure Scooter Media stays at the forefront of online reputation management, content innovation, and emerging platform engagement. He will focus on driving measurable results for clients while positioning Scooter Media as a thought leader in digital communications.
“Drew is deeply committed to our clients and our team, and his thoughtful approach to digital strategy has elevated our work in countless ways over the nine years he has been with us,” said Scooter Media President Shannan Boyer. “This promotion is well-earned, and I’m thrilled to see him step into the role and lead the vision for our agency’s digital work.”

Since joining Scooter Media in 2016, Drew has led the digital/social media strategy for a wide variety of clients, including Klosterman Baking Company and Fanlight Corporation/naturaLED. He has strengthened clients’ online platforms through strategic campaigns, led numerous social media training sessions, and shared his expertise on panels hosted by organizations such as Northern Kentucky University, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and Cincinnati PRSA.
Drew also plays a vital role in mentoring and developing digital talent within the agency, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning while keeping both clients and colleagues ahead of emerging trends. Under Drew’s leadership, Scooter Media received a 2024 Blacksmith Award for Best Use of Social Platforms for elevating the agency’s TikTok presence.
Drew’s contributions have been recognized with multiple accolades, including New Public Relations Professional of the Year from the Cincinnati chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He is a graduate of the Gilman Partners GP Elevate executive leadership development program and holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), which reflects his commitment to strategic excellence and ethical standards.
Beyond his professional achievements, Drew is an active community leader. He heads public relations and marketing for the Northern Kentucky Pride Center, advancing LGBTQ+ equity and inclusion in the region. He also serves as a mentor and professional advisor to students in the Northern Kentucky University PRSSA chapter.
